For neonatal and pediatric stroke, respectively, the average adjusted 5-year expenditures are significant at $54,719 and $135,168. The average price of admission for a youngster with a stroke was $91,869. Neonatal stroke birth admission expenses were on average $49,633; when these prices were adjusted for control birth admission costs, the difference was just $5,792, indicating that the stroke was responsible for 87% of the expenditures.
