Depending on the underlying reason, treatment for cognitive impairment may involve drugs to control symptoms, cognitive and behavioral therapy, lifestyle changes, and supportive care. Early detection and treatment of cognitive impairment are crucial because certain causes of it may be reversible if discovered and addressed quickly enough. The cognitive impairment will be explained in Stroke 2023.
