Rajendra Dhakal is the Founder and Managing Director of the Institute of Counseling Psychology Nepal, a position he has held for the past six years. With a double master's degree in psychology and education from Tribhuvan University, his journey into the realm of psychology began after spending 13 years as a teacher in schools. Recognizing the paramount importance of understanding human psychology in education, he embarked on a path of learning and self-discovery, ultimately deciding to dedicate himself to serving his community as a psychologist.
His academic pursuit led him to earn an M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Medicine (IOM), Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, thereby solidifying his expertise in the field. Today, Rajendra is a seasoned professional psychotherapist in Nepal, applying his wealth of knowledge and experience to help individuals navigate through life's challenges.
Rajendra's typical day begins with teaching in the morning, followed by immersing himself in the activities of the Institute of Counseling Psychology Nepal for the remainder of the day. The institute offers comprehensive six-month counseling training for beginners in the field, along with daily counseling services. Moreover, under Rajendra's guidance, the institute extends its services to provide organizational counseling and employment assessment programs to various organizations in Kathmandu, further contributing to the well-being of the community.
