Epilepsy is one of the Neurological disorders that cause seizures or periods of unusual behavior, abnormal brain activity sensations, and sometimes loss of awareness. Both men and women in all ethnic groups are affected by epilepsy. According to data from the World Health Organization, the average cost of healthcare per person globally in 2018 was USD 1,154.731. The cost of healthcare per person globally went from USD 784.313 in 2010 to USD 1,320.841 in 2019, with the United States as the top payer at USD 11,643.85 per capita in 2025.
